Morton Hartman, 94; beloved husband for 65 years of the late Edith nee Sered; loving father of Dr. William (Paula) Hartman, Susan (Gerald) Horan, Sharon (Kevin) Scotellaro and Deb (Jeff) Van Dyke; adoring Papa Mort of Matthew (Eve), Daniel, Anthony, Amy, Jack, Max, Brianna, Benjamin, Braden and Lydia; dear brother of the late Beverly (the late Marshall) Berkenbilt and brother- in-law of Dr. Melvin (Hedy) Sered; cherished uncle of Lynne (Jeff) Schoenberg, David (Tracy) Sered, Scott and Arabella Berkenbilt. Mort was a respected architect, past president of AIA Chicago Chapter and worked with City Colleges of Chicago. Chapel service Thursday, 10:00 AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity for the benefit of War Veterans or to the charity of your choice.
